Arnold Schwarzenegger pulled off a bold look earlier this week in LA, heading out on a bike ride in knee-high bright white socks.

The acting veteran, 74, looked every inch the natural cyclist as he pedalled around California, the compression socks making quite the statement look.

The former politician wore the socks with an equally-dazzling pair of white trainers which contributed to the sporty attire.

The Terminator movie star looked calm and collected on his outing, enjoying the Californian sunshine in a camouflage cap and cycling shades.

Arnold layered up with a khaki bomber jacket and finalised the look with black shorts which showed a hint of his muscly legs.

He is often spotted out and about on his electric bicycle, which retails at $5,000 – approximately £3649.

The sunny bike ride comes after the ex-California governor recently lost a huge bodybuilding deal.

A Boca Raton Florida-based sports nutrition company called REDCON1 announced last week it ‘has discontinued all support’ for his fitness events after the bodybuilding icon’s strong remarks on vaccination in a recent chat with CNN.

Arnold took a pointed approach toward caution amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic while speaking with the network’s Bianna Golodryga.

He said: ‘There is a virus here. It kills people and the only way we prevent it is: Get vaccinated, wear masks, do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about, “Well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.” No, screw your freedom!’

The True Lies actor continued: ‘You have the freedom to wear no mask – but you know something? You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask. Because you are supposed to protect your fellow Americans around you.’

In response, REDCON1 founder Aaron Singerman said in an Instagram post: ‘Anyone who says “screw your freedoms” is un-American, and REDCON1 is a patriotic pro-freedom brand. We support freedom of choice. We don’t want Arnold censored or cancelled. We just can’t support his opinion with our dollars.’
