Anya Taylor-Joy drapes herself in a white Dior coat as she jets off from LA… after her series The Queen’s Gambit won big at the Emmys
But Anya Taylor-Joy didn’t stay in Los Angeles long to celebrate her show’s triumph.
The 25-year-old actress was spotted at Van Nuys airport in Los Angeles as she boarded a private jet while showing off a chic Dior ensemble.
Heading home: Anya Taylor-Joy, 25, was spotted at Van Nuys airport on Monday as she boarded a private jet. Her series The Queen’s Gambit earned 11 awards at the Primetime Emmys the night before
Anya looked lovely in a flowing white Dior coat that reached down to her knees and was decorated with black-and-white illustrations.
Underneath it she wore a striking white dress covered in similar pink-hued images.
The Split star added a splash of color to the otherwise-muted ensemble with crimson cowboy boots.
She wore her platinum blond hair tied back in a bun with a yellow ribbon and wore a black bandana with a built in mask to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Anya gave the plane’s body a few taps as she headed up the stairs, though she appeared to lose her footing as she was climbing up.
She had several luxury bags with her, which a man carried up the stairs behind her.
The night before, Anya was at the 2021 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where her Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit was one of the major nominees.
She stars in the series as a young orphaned girl who becomes a world-famous chess prodigy.
But her astounding success is in danger of being derailed as she falls further into drug and alcohol abuse.

Thee Queen’s Gambit ended up being one of the evening’s big winners, taking home 11 Emmys from its 18 nominations.
The bulk of those were Creative Arts Emmy wins from the week before, but writer–director Scott Frank won the award for Outstanding Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the main ceremony, and the final award of the night, Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, also went to The Queen’s Gambit.
Accepting the final prize, Executive Producer William Horberg said to Anya, ‘what can I say, you brought the sexy back to chess and you inspired a whole generation of girls and young women to realize that patriarchy simply has no defense against our queens.’
The line was criticized by some social media users, who thought it reduced the actress’ talents to simple sex appeal and didn’t accurately represent that arc of the show.

Not her time: Anya lost out on Lead Actress to Kate Winslet, but the show won Outstanding Limited Series and Best Director; seen with costar Marielle Heller (L)
Others criticized Frank for his long-winded acceptance speech, during which the play-off music started up at three different times.
Anya ultimately lost out on the Lead Actress award to Kate Winslet for her HBO mystery drama Mare Of Easttown.
Michael Coel, Cynthia Erivo and Elizabeth Olsen were all nominated in the category.
