Online gambling operator Rush Street Interactive has further expanded its presence across the US digital gaming realm with the recent launch of its flagship brand and online casino platform, BetRivers, in West Virginia.
The company has been able to enter the state’s gambling market through a partnership with casino operator Century Casinos and its local business, Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in New Cumberland.
Rush Street Interactive teamed up with Century Casinos late last year in a move that secured its spot in West Virginia and its fast-growing iGaming space. The launch of the BetRivers site in the state has made it possible for local players to access an array of online slots and digital versions of casino classics such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat.
In addition, Rush Street Interactive’s site is the only online casino in West Virginia to feature free bingo games that offer a chance for players to win various prizes. The operator said that similar to other markets where its flagship operation is available, it will consistently expand its offering in West Virginia to ensure that state residents can always pick fresh content from a robust lobby.
BetRivers’ customers from the Mountain State will be able to join Rush Street Interactive’s gamified loyalty program, which enables its members to redeem their loyalty points and potentially win more prizes by playing proprietary bonus games, including online scratch cards, wheel spins, and bonus bingo.
Pleased to Go Live in West Virginia
Commenting on their debut in the state, Rush Street Interactive President Richard Schwartz said that they are very pleased to launch their flagship online casino brand in West Virginia and that they look forward to “bringing high levels of transparency and convenience to West Virginians for years to come.”
Mr. Schwartz went on to thank the West Virginia Lottery Commission for “their trust and partnership” and that they look forward to “offering West Virginians safe, convenient and enjoyable online gaming for years to come from a brand they can trust.”
The Mountain State is the latest of several US states where Rush Street Interactive has launched its online casino operation. West Virginia has joined New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as the places where the BetRivers platform operates.
According to a recent report by gambling industry market researcher Eilers & Krejcik, the company was the second largest US online casino operator in the fourth quarter of 2020. It should also be noted that Rush Street Interactive also offers sports betting in eight states and also operates in Colombia’s regulated online gambling market.
Late last year, the company combined with special purpose acquisition company dMY Technology Group to go public on the New York Stock Exchange.
