Pragmatic Play Expands Spanish Footing with Luckia Online Slots Deal

Online casino games developer and supplier Pragmatic Play has deepened its presence in the regulated Spanish market through a recent partnership with leading local operator Luckia.

Under the terms of this new deal, Pragmatic Play has supplied its operator with its online slots content.

As a result, Luckia now has access to the provider’s ever-growing range of slots, including the hugely popular John Hunter series, Gates of Olympus, and The Dog House as well as the widely acclaimed Wolf Gold.

Established in the early 1980s, Luckia provides both land-based and online gambling services. The company operates gaming machines in bars and restaurants and gaming arcades around Spain, along with retail sports betting and online gambling activities.

The operator is also present in the gambling markets of Portugal, Italy, and Colombia through various brands. Pragmatic Play is set to launch its slots content with these brands in the coming few months.

This is the latest in a series of big deals for Pragmatic Play announced in recent weeks and the latest one that would help it further its presence in the lucrative Latin American region. The company recently signed similar partnerships with LatAm-focused companies bplay and Juega En Linea, among others.

A Particularly Noteworthy Agreement

Commenting on their supply agreement with Luckia, Pragmatic Play VP of Commercial Strategy & Operations Bhotesh Maheshwari said that the operator’s established premier position in the Spanish industry” makes this new partnership “particularly noteworthy.”

He went on that the deal is a huge boost to their profile in the local market and represents “just the kind of exposure we’re looking for with Spanish players.”

Mr. Maheshwari further noted that Luckia’s reach does not end in the Spanish gambling space and that they are looking forward to working with the operator’s team to take their content live in the other global markets it operates in.

Luckia Head of Product Eloy Fernandez Martinez said that being able to include Pragmatic Play’s slots portfolio is great news for the company and its players. The official went on to add that the provider’s content augments their already “class-leading product provision” in the Spanish market and offers a “superb level of quality and diversity for our brand.”

Licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, and the Government of Gibraltar, Pragmatic Play currently releases up to five new slots per month. The company also offers live casino and bingo content as well as virtual sports.

Last week, it expanded significantly its Azure range of live casino titles with the addition of ten new Blackjack tables.
