Australian online casino games studio Lightning Box has launched a selection of its slots with iGaming brand 32Red via Microgaming, news emerged Wednesday.
Through an earlier content distribution deal with Microgaming, Lightning Box has made available seven of its most popular games to the online casino and its players.
Player favorites such as Silver Lioness 4x and Golden Yak have been included in that initial release, it also became known.
Based in Sydney, Lightning Box is a multi-channel supplier of slot games for the casino industry. The studio delivers its content to land-based, online, and social casinos around the world. It was founded by game design veterans Peter Causley and David Little in 2004 and has never stopped expanding its footprint since then.
As for 32Red, it is one of the many iGaming and sports betting brands operating under the Kindred Group umbrella. Kindred purchased the site in 2017 in a £175.6 million deal to add it to its multi-brand family and expand its presence in key markets. 32Red is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission. It previously also operated in Italy, but Kindred withdrew the brand from that market last year.
A Significant Achievement
Commenting on their recent launch with 32Red, Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley said that it was a significant achievement to have kicked off their partnership with the major online gambling brand.
He went on to say that their aggregation deal with Microgaming, an industry giant, has reaped multiple rewards for the studio in the last few years “and no more so than with this latest deal with 32Red.”
Mr. Causley also noted that they are always excited to launch their titles with a new operator and that they are now looking forward to seeing how the seven games that have gone live with 32Red will be received by the operator’s extensive player base.
Microgaming Director of Aggregation Graeme Powrie praised Lightning Box for being a talented game developer that has been crafting proven content for quite some time now and that they are delighted to facilitate this recent integration with 32Red.
The launch with one of Kindred’s most popular brands is the latest piece of big news shared by Lightning Box in recent days. Late last week, the studio announced that it has strengthened its US footprint with the launch of a selection of its games with TwinSpires in Michigan where online casino-style gambling recently became legal.
TwinSpires is the iGaming and sports betting operation of US land-based casino and racetrack owner and operator Churchill Downs.
