Evolution, the global live casino specialist, this week further expanded its physical presence in the United States with the launch of its third live studio in the country.
The new studio is located in Michigan which opened its market for regulated online casino products earlier this year.
Evolution became the first company to go live with live casino in the state. However, it will not be the only one to provide this type of content in Michigan as rival Playtech earlier this year got regulatory clearance to also launch a live casino studio in that state.
Following regulatory approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board, Evolution opened its facility on July 22. This is the company’s eleventh live casino studio worldwide.
The live casino provider said that like its existing facilities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the new one in Michigan delivers “a state-of-the-art B2B live casino solution for multiple operators wishing to offer world-class live casino gaming to online players on desktop, tablet and smartphone.”
Nine locally licensed operators went live with the company’s live casino offering from day one, with those being, BetMGM, Fanduel, DraftKings, PokerStars, TwinSpires, BetMGM, BetRivers, Golden Nugget, and William Hill. More operators are set to follow in the coming weeks and months.
What Does the New Studio Offer?
Evolution’s new Michigan studio currently offers live table games such as standard Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette as well as the provider’s Infinite Blackjack and Auto Roulette titles. These are all now live-streamed to local players via the nine operators the company currently works with.
The provider plans to add more live casino games as well as its hugely popular gameshow-style titles, it also became known.
Evolution Commercial Director North America Jeff Millar said that the launch of their Michigan studio marks a major landmark in the company’s US growth. The official further noted that they are fully committed to Michigan’s young iGaming market and that their aim is simple – “to excite and entertain players with the best possible choice of world-class gaming and to help operators to maximize their opportunities.”
Slots from NetEnt, which Evolution acquired last fall in a $2.3 billion deal, went live with all licensed operators in Michigan when the market opened in January. The rollout of the group’s live casino portfolio has thus further strengthened its presence in this promising new market.
Mr. Millar further pointed out that their studio in the state is “one of the biggest and best equipped in the US iGaming market” and that it can be expanded further in line with their operator partners’ needs. The official also noted that operators in the state have been “greatly impressed with what’s on offer” and that they have already received requests for dedicated, exclusively branded tables with several of their partners. These are scheduled to be rolled out later this year.
