Here are Jack Green‘s four NBA picks to consider for Wednesday’s game between the Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz.

Utah Jazz (-10)

This is a potential NBA Finals match-up, but it’s hard to see the Nets being able to compete on Wednesday night with Kevin Durant (hamstring) and Kyrie Irving (personal reasons) both missing.

James Harden carried Brooklyn to a win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, but a quick turnaround to face the best team in the West looks too tough a test even for the former MVP.

The Jazz have gone 4-2 since the All-Star break to move to 31-11 for the season. They’re 16-2 at home, lead the league in net rating and are coming off a 120-95 win over the Chicago Bulls.

Over 230.5 points

It’s safe to expect the Jazz to score plenty here given that they rank third in the NBA in points per game, while the Nets have allowed the sixth-most points of any team.

Brooklyn should also contribute their share to this total even without two of their three best offensive players.

They have the league’s best scoring offense despite having been without Durant for most of the season, and Utah has conceded an average of 117 points over its last 10 games.

Donovan Mitchell over 26.5 points

Mitchell leads the Jazz in scoring with 25.4 points per game this season and he’s been in great form recently, averaging 29.9 points over his last seven contests.

The star shooting guard has scored 30+ in three consecutive games and should keep his hot streak going against the Nets’ less-than-stellar defense.

Mike Conley under 5.5 assists

Conley is Utah’s lead facilitator and has averaged exactly 5.5 assists per game this season, but he’s been used much more as a scorer in recent games.

The veteran point guard has averaged 4.2 assists over his last six games, reaching six assists in just one of those contests.
